Pet relocation to and from Dubai, handled personally

Permits, vaccinations, health certificates, crates, customs and delivery — managed end to end by Penny, with the option to fly beside your pet in the cabin on one of our shared private charters.

The process

How a Dubai pet relocation works

1. Free consultation

Tell us your pet's breed, size, weight and travel dates. Penny reviews the route and explains exactly what your move involves before you commit.

2. Paperwork & permits

We prepare and track the documentation chain — microchip records, rabies vaccination, blood titre test where required, government import permit and the official veterinary health certificate.

3. Booking & crate fitting

We confirm your flight and make sure your pet travels in a correctly sized, airline-compliant crate — or beside you in the cabin on one of our shared private charters.

4. Travel day & arrival

Collection, airport handling, customs clearance in Dubai and delivery to your door. You get updates from Penny throughout, not a ticket number.

Documentation

What Dubai pet imports typically require

Exact requirements depend on your origin country and your pet's vaccination history. These are the documents most moves into the UAE are built around — we confirm your pet's list against the current rules before anything is booked.

  • ISO-compliant microchip, implanted before the rabies vaccination
  • Current rabies vaccination certificate
  • Rabies antibody titre (blood) test, where your origin country requires it
  • UAE import permit issued before travel
  • Government-endorsed veterinary health certificate, issued close to departure
  • Airline-approved travel crate sized to your pet

Official UAE import rules are published by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment at u.ae. Requirements change — always confirm before you travel.

Questions

Dubai pet relocation FAQs

How long does pet relocation to Dubai take?

The timeline is driven by paperwork, not flights. Rabies vaccination and, where required, a blood titre test have waiting periods before your pet can travel, and the UAE import permit is issued in the weeks before departure. We recommend starting the conversation as early as you can — once we know your origin country we can map exact dates for your pet.

Can my pet travel in the cabin with me?

On commercial airlines into Dubai, cabin travel is generally restricted. On our shared private charters your pet travels in the cabin beside you, which is why many families choose them for larger dogs, snub-nosed breeds and nervous travellers.

What does pet relocation to Dubai cost?

It depends on your pet's size and weight, the origin country, the paperwork required and whether you travel by commercial airline or shared charter. Seats on our scheduled shared charters are priced per route and published on our homepage. For a door-to-door quote, message Penny with your pet's details and dates.

Do you handle relocation out of Dubai as well?

Yes. We move pets out of Dubai to the UK, Europe and worldwide, including the return legs of our scheduled shared charters.

Are snub-nosed breeds accepted?

Many airlines restrict or refuse brachycephalic breeds such as French Bulldogs, Pugs and Persian cats in the hold. Our cabin charter option is designed for exactly these cases — talk to Penny about your breed before booking anything.

What about cats?

We relocate cats as well as dogs, with the same paperwork chain and the same cabin travel options.
